What a prefab concrete house is like
A prefab concrete house is built from concrete panels or modules made in a workshop, under cover and with quality control at every stage. On the plot they are placed on the foundations and joined together; then the services and finishes are completed, as in any home.
Concrete adds mass: it stores heat and releases it slowly, so the indoor temperature changes less between day and night. It also insulates well against noise, does not burn and needs very little maintenance. In exchange, its parts are heavier than steel or wood ones: transport and assembly need a crane and a plot that trucks can reach.
The models on this page can be built in concrete. In the configurator you choose the technology together with the size and finishes, and you see the exact price as you choose.
Frequently asked questions
The average turnkey delivery time is 6 months from the moment the building permit is granted. The parts are made under cover in a workshop, with quality control at every stage, and then assembled on your plot.
Yes, the same as any home. It complies with the Spanish Building Code (CTE), the Building Act (LOE) and the local planning rules of the municipality, which grants the permit. FindNido drafts and certifies the project and handles the permit for you.
Yes. The mass of the concrete stores heat and gives it back slowly, which softens temperature changes inside the house. FindNido homes are delivered with an A+ energy rating.
The structure changes, not the design: most models are offered in several technologies. Concrete is the heaviest and the one that adds the most thermal mass and sound insulation. Steel is lighter, and wood brings warmth and a renewable material. You can compare them in the configurator with the same model.
